Who’s ready to work it?

Tomorrow’s the day! Netflix’s new original movie “Work It” is premiering on August 7th, and we’re already obsessed!

In case you missed it, the film follows Quinn (played by Sabrina Carpenter), as she creates her own dance team in the hopes that it’ll help her get accepted into her dream college. When she has to compete against her school’s undefeated dance team, Quinn and her team of misfits set out to prove themselves on and off the dance floor! Keep scrolling to catch 9 reasons we’re excited to watch all the drama go down…

1. The cast! Joining Sabrina Carpenter are Liza Koshy, Jordan Fisher, Riverdale‘s Drew Ray Tanner, and The Flash’s Keiynan Lonsdale. Talk about a dream team!

2. Another rom-com from Netflix! If you loved “The Kissing Booth” and “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before“, you’re in luck! “Work It” is brought to you by the same studio, making it the perfect flick to add to your summer watchlist!

3. Sabrina and Liza playing BFFs. This is the totally-talented duo we never knew we needed until now!

4. Jordan Fisher…need we say more? After seeing his star quality in “To All The Boys P.S. I Still Love You,” we can’t wait to him shine in this role. Check out the triple threat’s insane dance moves on “Dancing With The Stars” below!

5. The dancing! What would a dance competition movie be without some seriously amazing dancing? As the trailer proved, there’s some hardcore choreography happening in this movie and we’re fully here for it!

6. Who doesn’t love a good underdog story? The team that Quinn assembles definitely have a lot to prove in the beginning, but we can already tell that they’re definitely up for the challenge!

7. New music! Sabrina’s new song “Let Me Move You” is featured in the trailer and was written specifically for the movie. Sabrina Carpenter stans are getting *really* lucky this summer!

8. We’re always up for a good dance competition movie! The “Work It” trailer is giving us the same vibes as some of our favorite throwback dance movies, like “Step Up” and “Bring It On.” They just never get old!

9. We need answers! We’re dying to know what will unfold. Will Quinn get into her dream school? Will her team win the Work It Competition? Only time will tell!
