Inspiring the world one brushstroke at a time!

At just 14 years old, Tyler Gordon has already broken down more barriers than most. The young painting prodigy, who was born partially deaf and with a stutter, has racked up a number of prestigious awards, been named a finalist for TIME’s “Kid of the Year,” and even recently received a surprise call from none other than Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris!

Because the mission of his work is to inspire others through hero stories, Tyler was also asked to create a piece that represents his vision of the country uniting and coming together in celebration of the 59th Presidential Inauguration. The heartening painting he created is titled “A Time To Heal,” and depicts two people stitching and sewing a Band-Aid onto the American Flag.

Check out Tyler’s meaningful masterpiece below to see why we’re so moved by his wise-beyond-years words and next-level talent!
