Since taking home the crown on season 11 of ‘America’s Got Talent,’ she’s dropped bop after bop (like “Moonlight,” “So Much More Than This” and more) and now she’s wowing fans with “Clearly,” a new single that reimagines Johnny Nash’s “I Can See Clearly Now” and transforms the soulful original into an emotionally-driven upbeat pop track. We’re obsessed!

In an interview earlier this week, he 14-year-old songstress — who recently surprised her biggest fans with an epic secret show — opened up about how the project came about:

“It actually wasn’t my idea at all. The producer, Ido [Zmishlany], and a couple others, were reimagining the song and adding to it. He asked me to join in and help out a little and maybe even sing it, and I ended up really liking it,” she explained.
