Last night was absolutely amazing guys! Not only did we get to hang out and see Justin Bieber perform a free concert for his fans at Citadel’s Tree lighting ceremony, we also got to meet Radio Disney’s “Next Big Thing†winner Jasmine Sagginario. BOP and Tiger Beat were the ONLY magazines backstage that got a chance to meet the gorgeous 15-year-old singer and watch her sing a special Christmas song for Justin! One of the prizes for winning Radio Disney’s “Next Big Thing†was opening up for Justin in LA and Florida. Wow! Jasmine must’ve been so excited since she was a fan even before she won! “I bought his album before I won N.B.T.!†she gushed. Jasmine also gets to have her song “Make A Movie†in the upcoming Sterling Knight film Starstruck and got to take over Radio Disney yesterday! We got a chance to ask Jasmine how she got started: “I was about 12 years old was when I first fell in love with music and my dad was a producer and writes music as well, so I asked him if I could record an album one day,†she smiled. “I had to work really hard and gave up cheerleading and other sports so I could spend time on music.†Tons of fans voted for Jasmine and the moment Radio Disney’s DJ Ernie D. called her to tell her she’d won, Jasmine said she couldn’t stop screaming! We think Jasmine’s got so much talent and can’t wait to see what she’s up to next!
