Ariana Grande just landed a major role and she’s SO excited about it!
She’ll be joining the cast of NBC’s Hairspray Live! as Penny, the character played by Amanda Bynes in the 2007 movie adaptation of the famous Broadway musical.
Ariana, who got her start on Broadway, was naturally ecstatic about the role!
“I’m so honored and beyond excited to be a part of this dream cast,” she tweeted. “I will for sure pass out at the table read.”
Ari was in for a surprise when she tried to build up to the announcement, only to find out that her fans already knew!
