Nothing screams sister goals louder than the Merrell Twins — even when they’re apart!
We recently caught up with Vanessa Merrell during our Instagram Live series Friends From Afar, where she gave us the scoop on all things “Switched” (her brand-new movie that just so happens to premieres tomorrow, September 4th), the importance of leading with love, and her oh-so-exciting plans for the future (which may or may not involve new music *wink, wink*).
She also got real about what filming without her sister Veronica (who she shares her fan-favorite YouTube channel — and their nearly 6 million followers — with) was really like:
“I’m a twin and usually my sister and I do a lot of acting roles together, and this was something that I was cast by myself and did on my own and so I was really proud of myself for that fact…This was definitely a new experience for me and it was just super exciting.”
