Finally, a red carpet look that doesn’t take a whole hair-and-makeup team to achieve. As Cover Girl’s latest spokesmodel, Zendaya took to the Grammy’s red carpet in makeup she did herself, with a statement cat-eye and luminous, shimmery skin. For us mere mortals, the thought of achieving an Award Show-worthy look at home sounds positively daunting, but the Fairy Godmothers at Cover Girl have walked us through the steps and exact products Zendaya used to create her signature look!

To balance out her menswear-inspired suit, Zendaya opted for a neutral beauty look. She says, “for the eyes, I wanted to keep the look soft, but with major lashes! I am a huge eyeshadow fan and currently loving truNAKED Eyeshadow Palettes, $10 because they are really pigmented and are so versatile. Today I used the Nudes palette and I love that no matter the look you are trying to achieve, these palettes offer a variety of colors and textures for a flawless look. I even used the lighter shade within the palette as a highlighter on my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose and on the cupids bow.”

“To define my eyes, I lined my upper lid with Intensify Me! Liquid Liner in Intense Black, $9.

“I finished with Cover Girl Plumpify Mascara, $9. This mascara gives loads of volume by lifting the lashes from the root, making them stand out more. I always finish any look by grooming my brows – it’s key!”

“Once my eyes are done, I apply foundation to clean up any mistakes or eyeshadow that sprinkled on my face. I started by applying foundation at the center of my face and worked [sic] my way out. Today I used Cover Girl truBlend Liquid Makeup in Caramel Beige, $10.”

“I warmed up my skin with truBLEND bronzer, $9 and added a pop of color with truBLEND blush, $9. The end look is flawless, yet my skin shines through and I don’t feel overly made up.

“Now, no look of mine is ever complete without a touch of color on the lips – tonight I used Colorlicious Oh Sugar! In Caramel, $9. I love that these lip balms help to keep the lips hydrated while still providing a light wash of color.”
