We love the message behind “Freaky Friday” for more reasons than one!
In case you missed it, last week Disney Channel premiered its latest and greatest original movie, and it’s bursting with feel-good energy and positive messages. To celebrate the premiere, we caught up with Cozi Zuehlsdorff (who plays Ellie Blake).
The 18-year-old actress opened up about the powerful way she hopes her on-camera persona inspires young fans to embrace their beauty, and confidently be themselves:
“At the end of the movie, Ellie’s in this cute little dress that shows her frame and her shape and she’s not embarrassed anymore. She’s not hiding under sweaters, and she’s out there, and she feels confident and beautiful, as she is…You’ve got to embrace that…and own your own beauty.”
