Speaking at a New York Comic Con panel for the hit mystery drama, Lili – who recently dished on everything Betty Cooper – explained how she loves the way the showrunners listen to their own instincts rather than anyone else’s when it comes to writing the script:
“It would be so much less interesting if everything that fans wanted to happen on the show happened. I feel like the steam would run out really quickly. I think it is good that the writers continue for what they want — their vision. It is not anyone else’s vision.”
Speak your truth, Lili! While we will always have our own secret fan theories, we can’t imagine the fun and exciting mystery of “Riverdale” any other way. Bring on season three, please!
