Young people can make a difference too! And 13-year-old actor and chef Sammy Voit is living proof of that.

Last weekend, the talented teen — who in addition to appearing in a handful of feature films, has also competed on “Chopped Junior” and “MasterChef Junior” — catered his entire Bar Mitzvah for over 200 people, and made a donation towards ending homelessness with the money he saved.

“I have had a lot of people tell me I’m crazy and ask me what do I know about the number of bites needed for a party like this…[but I wanted to] show other kids they can take on any challenge if they believe “why not me?” and make change,” Sammy explained.

How did he pull it off? Keep scrolling to tag along to the kitchen with Sammy and get a behind-the-scenes look at his inspiring initiative!
