Newly minted 19-year-old Shawn Mendes made a huge faux-pas back in the day! The “Nothing Holdin Me Back” singer-songwriter accidentally leaked longtime friend and fellow musician Jacob Whitesides‘ phone number on Twitter back in 2014, and in honor of his birthday, Jacob threw it back to the hilarious mistake.
At the time, the boys were in a group chat with a handful of other social media influencers — including Jack Gilinksy and Aaron Carpenter — when Shawn posted a screenshot of the conversation, and gave the entire internet free reign to call and text Jacob in the process!
